Cuba
One of the most fulfilling but challenging parts of my job is travel. Most of the time it’s last minute which can be disruptive and confusing to a 4 year child, but it’s also one of the reasons I love what I do. Traveling to parts of the world and having access to places I may never see on my own has truly been the ride of a lifetime.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Havana, Cuba with a client of mine. It did not disappoint. The colors, textures, people, and food filled my soul even while working in the hot scorching sun all day. A definite highlight was being driven around the city in vintage cars from the 50’s. If you plan to visit don’t forget to bring plenty of cash and exchange your money upon arrival. No US credit or debit cards can be used in Cuba. That includes paying for luggage at the airport.
