A Return To Basics
Well, A LOT has changed since my last post almost 2 years ago. Work and travel has come to a full stop due to the worldwide COVID-19 crisis. The past 2 years have been filled with even more work and travel that I had little to zero free time…well, really to do anything else.
It’s been tough (an understatement) but I’ve gotten to spend time with my family and focus on the little things that bring me joy. So in between home schooling a 6 year old, cooking (thank god I have a husband that can cook) washing dishes, doing laundry, and cleaning I’ve returned to the basics to maintain my sanity. Today I’d like to focus on skin. The simple ritual of washing my face in the morning and applying my core skin care products has been so important. The one thing I noticed when I scaled back all my “grooming” products was scent. When you don’t apply a million products everyday you really start to appreciate what products smell like. Function and scent are extremely important to me when choosing a skin care product for myself or my client. Susanne Kaufmann’s products are packed with organic, energy–rich oils and hand finished in Austria’s Bregenz Forest Mountains. I really can’t say enough about this skincare line, it ticks all the boxes for me…oh and it really works. The eye cream is a must have.
Suzanne also runs Hotel Post Bezau in the Austrian Alps, a hotel/spa that I hope to visit one day soon!
