Today’s Set Up | No. 1
First and foremost, I’m a beauty junkie. I love all things beauty…from the smell of a new lipstick, the shape of a skincare bottle to the texture of a hair paste. Being a men’s groomer for close to 2 decades, I’ve tried many hair, skin and makeup products too numerous to count. When I’m lucky enough to be sent things or when I purchase products I always test them on myself first before using on my clients. I definitely have my tried and true products but I’m always on the hunt for the latest to add to the mix. Here’s “today’s set up.”
Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser – I have combination skin, very oily and very dry so I’m quite picky about cleansers. One wrong move and I could end up with a horrible breakout. I ran out of my regular face wash so I’ve been living on the edge and experimenting with washes while “staying at home”. I’m happy to report that this wash does the trick. It removes all makeup, excess oil and any other grime from the day. It’s gentle but strong enough to get the job done.
Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Face Oil – I can’t live without facial oil, a bit dramatic yes, but it’s true. Leaves skin moisturized, reduces the appearance of fine lines and skin just looks more youthful. The thing I love about this product besides the delicious packaging, is that it’s scent free. In fact, it’s 100% free of essential oils, silicone and fragrance which can disrupt the many benefits of the pure and unrefined oil.
Susanne Kaufmann Eye Cream Line A – This eye cream is a must have. It leaves your delicate eye area radiant. It’s the perfect base for your concealer or foundation. I reapply during the day as I like my under eye area to look dewy and moisturized. I believe this is one of the most important steps to a more youthful appearance.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Anti-Aging Body Cream – I bought this product on a work trip to London and I’ve been hooked every since. Perfect for those areas around the knees, thighs and arms that need a little extra boost. Extracts of White Almond and Elderberry Blossom tighten the skin and help restore elasticity resulting in firmer looking skin.
