Life is pretty stressful these days. Between picking up and moving from a place I called home for 23 years, my work and livelihood majorly impacted by COVID, home schooling and the state of the world let’s just say it’s been A LOT. Self Soothe
Bedtime has never been easy in our home. We’re talking tears, tantrums and 9pm lights out at the earliest. Six and a half years later it’s a bit more manageable but add mask wearing, no physical school, no playing with friends, playgrounds closed, no camp and many difficult but much needed conversations about world events has left a very anxious only child (and family). A Return To Basics
